Can't Keep Up

So, I've decided to call this post Can't Keep Up because that is how I feel. Not in life...but online. With email- personal and work, facebook, blogs, pinterest (which I am in love with by the way), baby websites, etc... I can't seem to find time to make use of it all. I don't want to be that computer rat sitting there all day in front of the computer, so I pick and choose and spend a few minutes here and there doing things. With that said, my blog has been lacking I must say. I rarely update and when I do I keep it short and sweet. All I can think is 'who really cares anyways?!?!' But then I see all these other blogs that I become envious of because it is like a mini journal for themselves that they can look back on. And I think- I want that! I am not one to divulge in personal info for public eyes to see, but I figured...hey, I can make it as personal as I want it to be...so here I am back to blogging...
for now. :) We'll see if I can keep up with it. I know with little one coming soon we will probably have friends and family that would like a better way of keeping track of us and what better way than this blog.
So, here goes...

Time Flies

Well, time has flown by...
I am 30 weeks along now. Only 10 to go. Crazy!
Here are some of the things we have picked out for the nursery. No actual pictures of the nursery yet...it is still a work in progress.

Crib: (we did not get the drawer on the bottom...we did not want it)


Dresser: (we preferred a real dresser; felt it was a better investment)

New Post...Really?!?!

So, I haven't really had a reason to post...until now.

We are excited to announce we are having a baby girl!
We've known for a while now...I just haven't gotten on to post anything.
Baby girl's due for arrival on August 17th.

Daily Adventures

I wish everyday could be an adventure, and I guess in a way it is, but I really wish I could GO on an adventure everyday.
Today we were able to take a little day trip up to Poole's Mill Park for lunch and play. We had a great time spending the day with family in the beautiful weather we were blessed with this weekend.

This picture doesn't quite show, but the area was full of little waterfalls leading to pools of water. We all had to be extra careful making the trek down the river/stream/whatever it was to not bust our booties because most of the rocks were extra slick. Jackson had a great time splashing, playing, laying, anything and everything he could do in the water.
Wish everyday could be like today.

A baby bunny has been frequently bouncing around in our backyard. Jackson, our dog, wants to go play with it so badly. I do too! It is too cute.
