Music Class 2014

This is Madelyn's third quarter in Music

and sadly her last.

She has loved the Teeny Tykes and Tunes Music Class that

Johnson's Ferry Church puts on each quarter.

She meets new friends.

Gets to dance and sing.

And see the fish in the aquarium near the entrance.

This quarter we were lucky enough to have a few of her friends in her class

(Bryce and Audrey).

Atlanta Zoo 2014

Yearly trip to the zoo.

This year was the most fun we've had yet!

Madelyn seemed to be the perfect age

to soak everything in and literally enjoy every moment.

First face painting.  We told her to hold very still.  She did.

She picked out the tiger paw and of course Matt was proud.

Our friends, the Robbins, joined us.

And the girls happy as could be walking through the park holding hands.

BFF's.

 Madelyn claims the snakes were her favorite when you ask her...

I'm not sure I'd agree.

First alphabet letter accomplished.

The girl can write the letter X.

And boy was she proud as punch.

Touch-A-Truck 2014

Downtown Kennesaw holds this event every year and 

last year Matt took Madelyn because I had something going on that day,

but she was still too little to really understand, 

so he said they pretty much walked a loop and left.

This year was much different.

She was able to pick and choose which she wanted to get in and try out.

There was one BIG truck that was letting all the kids get on and honk the horn

(which was very loud)

I thought 'oh, yeah, how fun- M, go push the horn on that truck!'

No way.  She didn't want anything to do with it.

She basically picked the most boring vehicles to get in-

for example- she wanted to get in the box truck...

Yeah, real exciting.

Of course we didn't care what she chose, but 

she claims her favorite was the school bus.

Aquatic Center Visit

Swimming!

Who doesn't want to go swimming when the weather starts teasing you 

with it's random warm days?!

With the very cold winter we had

and the random beautiful days mixed in we decided to

spend a few hours swimming.

I mainly wanted to see if swim lessons were a good idea yet for M.

I believe I am going to wait until she is 3...

which sadly is approaching.

Madelyn's cousins and her friend, Venice, were able to join in on the fun.
