Christmas 2014

All Madelyn asked for from Santa was a pink bike and an Elsa doll.
She made out pretty well. We spent Christmas morning at our house doing the whole santa thing. Then we headed over for Christmas brunch at Gigi and Pop-pop's with Auntie Meghan. Later we made our way over to Nana and Papa's house with my sisters and the rest of the fam. Madelyn had a blast playing with her cousins amd of course opening all her gifts.  We are very blessed.
More pictures to come.

Name

She can spell her name...
She can write her name...
Very proud of how hard this little girl likes to work!

Candy canes and ornaments

Great little helper.
She definitely got all the low branches and a spot in the back of the tree.

Oh Christmas Tree

Picking out our Christmas Tree.
She was having more fun sweeping up all the pine needles off the ground.
I think they wanted to hire her.
What can I say... she likes things clean and in order like her momma.

Heath and Lineback Company Christmas Party 2014

Big year for the company, so we had a weekend trip in the mountains at Brasstown Valley Resort.
Madelyn had a sleepover with her nana and papa.
We had a great mini trip and are very thankful Matt works for such a great company.

Meet Spot

Spot joined our family this December.
I've always felt a little weary about this tactic and even found it to be a bit creepy,
but to keep it fun for the girl this little elf, Spot (she named him of course),
came to visit for the month of December.
He didn't tell Santa about whether she was naughty or nice.
Instead he told Santa all about her day.
He mostly played hide and seek every night and she had to find him in the morning.
He got a lot of good laughs out of her.

Thanksgiving 2014 - Beach Trip

The weather may not have been as cooperative this year,
but we still had a blast and it definitely didn't phase the little ones at all.
First couple of days were rainy on and off and cold, but by mid week it was sunny, beautiful and hot!
Madelyn was in heaven between all the time with her daddy, nana and papa, cousins and of course just being outside most of the day.

We definitely look forward to this trip every year!

Yes, her daddy let her paint his toes.

The Rock Ranch

 What a day!
We took a drive down to The Rock Ranch (a little less than an hour south of Atlanta).
We had a blast.
There was so much to do and the price to get in was very reasonable
for all they have and we didn't even do everything this go round.
Madelyn is already talking about going back.

It was a gorgeous day and we spend it all outdoors!

Playing in the corn box.

Her first pony ride.

 A cow tractor ride.

Matt pulling the girls around on the petal cars.

We did the corn maze with help from daddy and his amazing sense of direction
and a little help from one of the workers up on the tower stand.

The views were amazing.

 Crawling around on the spiderwebs.

 Playing in Tiny Town.

 Driving John Deere Tractors.

The Petting Zoo.
The Donkey was the sweetest thing ever!
I would have brought him home with me if I could have.

 The jumping pillow.

long underground slide.
(this was our second attempt at a picture.
Both times someone walked in front of Matt just as we were coming down.
Go figure.)

 The train ride.

 Cane pole fishing with daddy.

 The Robbins.

 BFF's.

Hot Air Balloons.

Thank you Rock Ranch.
We will be back.
