Goggles and Naps

...really...the two go hand in hand.  

You wear goggles in the pool, spending the day at the pool makes you sleepy, so you  take a nap...

or at least that's how it goes at our house.

Madelyn at 9 and 10 months

So...I am falling behind.  Today is Madelyn's 10 month birthday...we spent it at White Water with my sister, her kids, and my mom.  So...to catch up:

Madelyn loves snacks!

She would probably eat all day if you let her.

There is not a food yet that she has refused. 

She is pointing.  She will point at people, pictures, things and wants to know all about them.

She is patting.  She will pat you on the leg, the back, the face, etc...
She has started patting on the back when she gives a hug.

Gatlinburg, Tennessee

Matt and I decided a while back that we would try 

to go somewhere every year for our anniversary.

Honeymoon: Costa Rica

1 year: Orlando, Florida

2 year: Savannah, Georgia

3 year: Atlanta, Georgia 

(we weren't as adventurous here because I was 6 months pregnant)

and now-

4 year: Gatlinburg, Tennessee

We didn't really care how far we travel or what we do

 as long as we go somewhere new and enjoy it.

We stayed the weekend in the mountains in a beautiful cabin snuggled away
right on the edge of the mountain with a beautiful view and completely secluded.

We walked downtown Gatlinburg, ate lots of yummy food, and visited the Ripley's Aquarium.
