Daily Adventures

I wish everyday could be an adventure, and I guess in a way it is, but I really wish I could GO on an adventure everyday.
Today we were able to take a little day trip up to Poole's Mill Park for lunch and play. We had a great time spending the day with family in the beautiful weather we were blessed with this weekend.

This picture doesn't quite show, but the area was full of little waterfalls leading to pools of water. We all had to be extra careful making the trek down the river/stream/whatever it was to not bust our booties because most of the rocks were extra slick. Jackson had a great time splashing, playing, laying, anything and everything he could do in the water.
Wish everyday could be like today.

Our Current Furry Little Friend

A baby bunny has been frequently bouncing around in our backyard. Jackson, our dog, wants to go play with it so badly. I do too! It is too cute.

Happy Anniversary to my Love.

Ok. So it is not our anniversary anymore, but here is what we got to enjoy for our anniversary weekend:
We stayed at The Gastonian which was beautiful! Breakfast in bed was the best.

We made it to Tybee Island to spend some time at the beach. This is the Tybee Island Lighthouse.

Uncle Bubba's for lunch. I'm not a seafood eater, but the Fried Pickles were delish!

Right over this bridge is South Carolina. So, we went.

Memorial Day

This one is for my dad. :)

What a happy 2 years we have had!

Cannot Wait...

Our 2 year anniversary is coming up and this is where we will be heading:

2 weeks and counting before we head to Savannah, GA for a quick little get-away. Both Matt and I have not been before. We'll post pics when we return!

Lake Day!

Kayaking, what a fabulous workout.

Jackson had a blast of course.

We love our little niece, Lydia Grace.

Nothing better than spending the day at the lake with the fam. Didn't get many pictures though. Whoops. :)

No Boys Allowed!

So, we hit the road on Thursday morning to head towards Nashville, TN.

We stayed at the Opryland Hotel, courtesy of my fabulous sister who wanted to thank us for everything we do for little Lydia. We had a great time exploring the huge hotel and hitting up the giant shopping mall nearby.

Hydrangeas are my fav!

The hotel offered various walking trails/paths with beautiful gardens and waterfalls. I think the boys were jealous...they had to work. :) Thanks Steph for the fabulous trip!

Even though Valentine's is a little hoaky...

I love my Valentine!

Winter Wonderland

Eating the snow

Hiding in the snow

Wondering what to do next in the snow

I believe with the short-lived snow Jackson had the most fun...

I love the way snow makes everything look!

Stair Sitting

Jackson likes to sit on the stairs.

There's no place like home for the holidays...

Our Christmas Tree right before gift giving time. Matt and I decided to do Christmas between us on Christmas Eve this year because last year it was too much to try and do ours, then my family, then his family.

Jackson trying to get in on the Christmas action.

That's it for our little family Christmas on Christmas Eve. :)
