Another trip to Brasstown Valley Resort.
This time Madelyn got to tag along because daddy was going to be in meetings the whole time and I wanted to have someone to play with!
Madelyn loved this trip even though she missed her daddy being in meetings all day.
She got to ride a horse for the very first time!
She's been on the little pony rides where they are attached and walk in a circle like 3 times, but this was a full blown giant horse.
What a trooper.
I was a little nervous.
I'm not around horses much and the owner wanted me to lead the horse.
I lead.
The horse didn't always follow, but the owner would always step in to help out thank goodness as I stood there like a moron.
Madelyn loved the horse ride and I was glad to see her so happy, but was also very glad to see when it was over.
We also went to the pool.
One of her favorite things to do- believe it or not- was to people watch in the lobby and play checkers.
She would also get up on the fireplace and put on a show for me.
It was hysterical.
She won't say thank you to someone who holds open a door for her, but she will get up on a stage and dance like no one is looking.
My parents were such troopers and came to spend the day with us to take Madelyn home so Matt and I could go to the Gala that evening. Not only did they make that drive to spend the day with us and head back home with Madelyn in tow- they actually only spend an hour or two with us because they had to leave and get our dog because we had no other way to get him from the boarder.
I cannot thank them enough for all of the things they do for us on a daily basis!
