Play date with The Robbins at Sky Zone.
We had a blast (parents included).
We will be going back!

Jump

Madelyn loves to jump.
She will jump anywhere and everywhere.

Fun.
But sometimes scary.
Like when she climbs on the couch and starts jumping without you.
Or like now that she's learned how to climb on to
mommy and dada's big, tall bed all by herself.
Or like jumping off of a concrete stair outside.

We've been lucky so far and she's a good listener for the most part.
I'm not going to say she hasn't had any bumps or bruises,
but for the most part that's just plain ol' clumsiness of her own or from running too fast.

So, jump away, sweet girl!

White Water

I knew she would love it.
But let me tell you...she LOVED it!
The girl did not want to stop for anything other than to maybe
shove a cracker in her mouth real quick.

She also slept like a rock when we got home.
See you again soon White Water!

Nana

First thing every morning these days: 'poo' = pool.
My response: Yes, baby, probably later.
And most days we do.

This girl is a water baby.
I know I've already done a lot of pool posts and I'm sure this won't be the last.
Her new trick: swimming underwater!
(this just means letting her go in the water, she goes under, and pick her back up)
Nana helped us with this trick this past week.

She doesn't cry, scream, get angry.
She either does well and doesn't swallow any water
or swallows a bit and need a minute to gather herself and she's good to go.

I never thought I'd be that parent,
but she did it all on her own and I just kept it going.
Now, I just hope to get her to do it once
or twice every time we go to get the practice.
