8 Months

What a silly, little one one we have on our hands.
Madelyn loves getting into the dog water bowl.
She splashes and wiggles her little fingers in it and when you pull her away she gives the saddest little cry like you just broke her heart.
We have learned taking a bowl of water outside and letting her have her way with it is loads of fun.
I guess it is about time for the pool to open or we need to go get a little kiddie pool for her to play around in.
Madelyn is pulling up on just about anything now.
Sometimes she gets stuck up though and fusses because she isn't sure how to get down.
She still loves rubbing that little head of hers, but has now found her hair and will pull it from time to time.
And then cry because it hurt.
This one makes me laugh.
She's back to loving blowing raspberries, but with her tongue now and let me tell you- loads of slobber is what we get now.
She loves to try and get her hands on Jackson's toys.  Gross. She will even try to put them in her mouth.
We are trying to teach her no.
This task is very hard. She either makes us laugh or breaks our hearts.
She will either turn to us and give us the sweetest little smile- or pout and drop the sweet alligator tears.

She is sleeping in her pack n play during the night- FINALLY!  The girl finally likes to sprawl all out instead of curl up in a little ball.
She takes her naps in her crib...most of the time.
She does not care for her swing anymore.
She has finally discovered that crawling can actually take her places.
(dog water bowl, dog toys, the bathroom, the stairs, etc...)
She LOVES her room.
She loves pulling books off of her shelf in her room.
She loves digging in her toy boxes.
She has a music table that she loves to bang on.
She loves sitting in a high chair when we go out to eat, and she loves sitting in the buggy at the store when we go shopping.
She waves at random people and says 'hi' or 'hey'.
She has loved every type of food we have given her so far- green beans, peas, carrots, sweet potatoes, squash, bananas, apples, and rice cereal.
She loves Puffers- little snacks that dissolve in your mouth.
She loves to feed herself Puffers.  She basically rubs her hand on her face until it goes in her mouth or falls on the floor.
She loves being outside- whether it is looking outside, sitting outside, going for a walk, playing, etc...
She has a new yell/squeal she does when she wants something- again- it is so hard to teach no.
She still loves to play with her feet.
We have a doctor's appointment in the middle of May to see how big baby girl is getting.
