We decided to take a mini trip to Chattanooga for the night
since we weren't getting to go on on our normal Beach trip for Thanksgiving.
This trip was all about Madelyn.
We moved at her pace.
Did what she wanted to do.
And it was a great, relaxing weekend trip...
even though it was the coldest weekend of the year so far.
We stayed right downtown in a hotel that was central
to the Chattanooga Aquarium and The Children's Museum.
We ate at Big River Brewery.
Would recommend to anyone.
Food was delicious.
I got the Mac and Cheese with bacon which was out of this world.
Matt loved the sample beer pick
where he was able to try about 10 different beers that they brew.
Madelyn got to swim in the heated swimming pool at the hotel before bed time.
She absolutely loves the pool!
Had a hard time getting that girl out of it.
We did Rock City when we first arrived in Chattanooga.
So much fun...
even though it was chilly.
Madelyn had a blast exploring all on her own and choosing which route we took.
She especially loved the swinging bridge.

The Aquarium was our first stop the next day.
It was fun,
but a little boring.
Not much to see at this aquarium from what I remember.
Madelyn enjoyed it of course which was our reason for going.
I think the penguins and running the ramps were her favorite part.
Our next stop was to see an IMAX.
We left early...
Then off to the Children's Museum for Madelyn to play...
and sadly again, I did not think it was near as good as the Atlanta Children's Museum.
Madelyn had fun running around though investigating everything there was.
Her favorite part was probably the doctor section where she got to play doctor
to all the babies.
We definitely would have preferred the beach for the week,
