So we were at a friends house for the 4th of July
and her daughter had the sweetest little leather chair and ottoman.
Of course this led me on a hunt to find one for Madelyn because she LOVED it.
She was climbing all over it and acting so goofy trying to be 'big'.
Actually wasn't to hard to find one at a good price, so I went and picked it up right away.
Of course, Matt gets home and he knows how I am about a one track mind kind of thing-
so I feel the need to make excuses:
Me: It's for her birthday.
Him: It's not her birthday yet.
Me: I know, but I found it and I didn't know how long they'd have them.
Him: It's not her birthday yet.
Me: I know, but she doesn't know the difference anyways between getting it now or on her birthday.
Do you really want me to put it away till her birthday comes?
Madelyn: Standing on her chair, big grin and all.
Him: No.
Haha. She's already learning how to work him. Love it.
And of course...this is how she wants to play with it- stand on it like a 'big girl'.
