Half a Year...6 months Old

And I can hardly believe it!

Madi-girl is so curious and lively.  I think we are going to have our hands full when she starts crawling.
She sits all by herself.
She sits up very straight most of the time.

She loves playing with and watching her cousins Lydia and Liam.
She rarely swings for me anymore.
She likes to be rocked to sleep and stay in my arms.
We have reverted back to the rock n play for bedtime sleep for now.
She loves to be carried around on your hip or in a wrap to see what is going on all around her.
She loves going for walks in her big girl stroller so she can see.
She so badly wants to eat everything we are eating.
She can get onto her tummy from sitting position, but not often and not very easily.
She rubs her feet together until her socks come off.
We have a little tikes piano that she loves to bang on.

She is using her pacifier more than her thumb now...yay!
She likes to pop her paci out and put it back in.
She will blow raspberries when she cries (which is actually nice because it makes her crying very soft).
She will also scream sometimes when she cries...this we don't enjoy as much because it is very loud.
She loves watching her ABC's and 123's songs on youtube on the computer.
She huffs and puffs through her nose when she is beginning to get upset.  It is your warning to help her out. :)
She pouts and whimpers at people she does not know.
When playing on the floor she loves to randomly snuggle my arm.

She will snuggle me when I greet her after work or after she's been with someone else for a little while.
She likes to touch my face.
She eats rice cereal really well for others, but not me.
She still loves bath time, but hates to be all lotioned up afterward.
She has finally found her voice and talks a lot now!  Her talking sounds a lot like a squeal/singing.
She likes to try and climb all over my legs when we sit on the carpet.

We don't go to her 6 month visit for another month.  I'm thinking she weighs close to 15 lbs though, just by getting on the scale myself and then with her.
Happy 1/2 year Madi!  We love you.
